Some BidGrid bidders like to bid on more than one auction at a time. Others like to focus on just the one. Regardless of how you like to roll, you can access all the information you need about your auction and bidding progress in the ‘active auctions’ tab of your main account page.
You’ll see three headings on this page – my details, payments and auctions. Under that third heading you have three options to choose from – my auctions, my practice auctions and bid history. The first one is for those auctions you pay to bid on, while the second is for the free practice auctions. Remember, we have a £1 bid pack up for grabs every three hours, with five free bids going to everyone. The third one gives you a list of all the bids you’ve placed on all the auctions you’ve ever participated in – from the free ones to the paid ones. In every case the lowest unique bid wins, but you’ll get a great idea of how easy it is to keep track of your bidding progress.
When you are in the ‘my auctions’ tab, you can filter your results to show your active auctions, your finished auctions and also the auctions you’ve actually won. This is great as you can go back through your history to see what you’ve won in the past and what your winning bid was. It might be useful if you’re looking for a pattern for where the winning bids tend to fall.
Either way you can get a lot of information from your account page. If you’re taking part in one or more auctions and trying to get that all-important lowest unique bid each time, this is the best way to keep track of how you’re doing. Why not take a look now?
