Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using the BidGrid website.


Bid - A bid placed or to be placed on an auction.
Bid Balance - The current amount of credit in a members account.
Bid Cost - The fee paid for placing one bid on a particular auction.
Bidder(s) - Any person who has placed a bid on BidGrid.
BidGrid - Refers to the company BidGrid Ltd and our website
Item - The product or service that is the focus of a specific auction.
Member(s) - Refers to any person who has registered as a BidGrid member.
My Account - Personal account profile of a BidGrid member.
Non-Unique Bid - A bid that is identical to at least one other bid in the same auction.
RRP - The manufacturers ( Recommended Retail Price ) for a specific item.
Unique Bid - A bid that is not identical to any other bids in the same auction.
Us or We - Bid Grid Ltd.
Winning Bidder - The lowest unique bid at the end of the auction.


2.1 Bid Grid Ltd is a UK company, based and operated from the midlands (company number 07417767).
2.2 The website is solely owned and operated by Bid Grid Ltd.
2.3 The following terms and conditions apply to the business relationship between:
   a) Bid Grid Ltd and their auction platform
   b) BidGrid users, registered or otherwise
2.4 Accepting the following terms and conditions is a requirement by BidGrid prior to registration.
2.5 Upon registration members are immediately bound by our terms and conditions.


3.1 By registering for an account and participating in BidGrid auctions you warrant that:
   a) You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
   b) You are at least 16 years of age.
   c) You are a resident in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
   d) You are accessing BidGrid from within the United Kingdom or Ireland.
   e) You are participating as an individual bidder only and will not co-operate directly or indirectly with any other member regarding your bid positions or the bid positions of any other member.
   f) You are able to make payments to BidGrid.


4.1 During the registration process, you must create a user name and valid e-mail address which is not offensive, does not offend common decency and does not infringe upon the rights of any third parties. User accounts created during registration are non-transferable and may only be used by you.
4.2 BidGrid memberships are strictly limited to one account per person.
4.3 You are solely responsible for your profile and any activity on it, and must keep your password secure. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your profile or password, you must notify us at immediately. We will not be liable for any losses caused by any unauthorised use of your profile.
4.4 We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently disable your account when, in our reasonable opinion, you have breached these terms and conditions.


5.1 Bids must be purchased and paid for prior to participating in any auction.
5.2 We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards and selected pay agents such as PayPal.
5.3 By submitting payment you warrant that you are the owner of the credit/debit card or account holder of the pay agent and are authorised to make the transaction for the purpose of participating in BidGrid auctions.
5.4 Should a payment not be honoured, a returned payment fee will be charged and you authorise us to deduct such fees from your account. You will be responsible for these fees should there be insufficient funds in your account. We reserve the right to block access to your account and/or withhold any outstanding deliveries until full payment for any Product, including any fees due to returned payments, have been paid.
5.5 In the event of winning an auction payment must be made directly to us for the winning bid amount and cannot be deducted from the winning members bid balance.
5.6 Any fees or charges that we impose as a result of fraudulent activity, chargeback events or any other serious breach of these Terms and Conditions will become recoverable as a debt, where the user does not make payment within 28 days of the invoice being served.
5.7 We may also block access to your account and / or amend a user's account balance if we have reason to suspect fraudulent behaviour or a breach of these terms and conditions.
5.8 Where we reasonably believe that a user has intentionally exploited any of our offers or our website in general, we reserve the right to remove all of the members bid balance, and charge that member directly for any fraudulent bids that have been placed.
5.9 Bid balance amounts cannot be withdrawn and will automatically expire following a period of account inactivity of any greater than 6 months. Please only deposit what you wish to spend on BidGrid auctions.
5.10 All bidders that placed bids in a particular auction but do not win, have the option to purchase that item for the displayed 'buy it now' price, for the first 48 hours after the auction has ended.
5.11 The 'buy it now' price is worked out as follows ( Our Price - Bid Costs ) and enables all bidders to recover 100% of their bid costs.
5.12 When a member purchases an item at the 'buy it now' price, the payment must be made directly to us and can not be deducted from the members bid balance.
5.13 Each bidder can only purchase each auction item for the displayed 'buy it now' price once.


6.1 The winning bid will be the lowest unique bid at the end of the auction.
6.2 In the event that there is no unique bid, the winning bid will be the last bid to be unique before the auction ended.
6.3 We reserve the right to close an auction early for any reason.
6.4 Bid fees are non-refundable unless the auction is cancelled. Once bids are placed, they can be neither withdrawn nor modified.
6.5 We reserve the right to suspend an auction if at any time we :
   a) Suspect irregular or fraudulent activity.
   b) Are experiencing technical issues with any aspect of the BidGrid website.
6.6 BidGrid employees, shareholders and family members of such persons may not submit bids or participate in any BidGrid auctions.
6.7 Every person can place up to a maximum of 10 bids per row and 35 bids on each individual auction.
6.8 It is strictly against our terms and condtions for any member to bid from more than one account or to co-operate bid positions directly or indirectly with any other member.
6.9 Where we have reason to believe that a member has either bid from more than one account or has co-operated bid positions directly or indirectly with any other member(s), the auction(s) in question will be cancelled/invalidated and any bidders in breach of 6.8 above will forfeit the full cost of their bids.
6.10 The value of any goods or cash payments that have been processed and received as a result of breaching these terms and conditions will become recoverable by us as a debt and must be paid within 30 days of an invoice being served.


7.1 The winner of every BidGrid auction will have to pay the amount of the winning bid when selecting option a) from 7.2 below. By doing so the winner is deemed to have accepted an offer to conclude a contract to purchase the item that was the subject of the auction for a price equal to the value of the winning bid.
7.2 The winner of each product auction may be presented with 3 options :
   a) Purchase Product.
   b) Convert to Cash, which will be an amount equal to 60% of the stated BidGrid sale price.
   c) Exchange for Credits, which will be an amount equal to 80% of the stated BidGrid sale price.
7.3 Options b) and c) of 7.2 above are exempt from paying the winning bid amount.
7.4 If a win has not been confirmed by the winner within 14 days of the auction end date we reserve the right to withdraw the offer to conclude the contract. The winners right to pay for and receive delivery of the product, vouchers or bid balance will be permanently revoked. In such circumstances, bids placed by the winner in that auction remain non-refundable.
7.5 Every member is restricted to 5 bronze, 3 silver and 1 gold auction win per 7 day period.
7.6 When a member reaches the win limit for an auction category they will not be permitted to place further bids on any new auctions within the same category until the required time has lapsed.
7.7 When a member reaches the win limit for an auction category they will be permitted to place further bids on other auctions within the same category if they previously placed a bid on that auction before the win limit was activated.


8.1 Deliveries within the United Kingdom and Ireland are free of charge.
8.2 Items that have been won on our website will normally be delivered to the winner within 10 working days of contract formation. In exceptional circumstances we may be unable to honour this timescale and delivery times may be longer, in such cases we will always contact the winner to inform them of any delays.
8.3 Items will only be delivered to the winning bidders address as shown in the personal details of their BidGrid account.


9.1 You may choose to cancel the contract formed between you and us within 14 days of receiving delivery of the Item. If you choose to cancel the contract within this time you will receive a full refund of the winning bid price paid for the item, within 7 working days of us receiving the item from you.
9.2 You must notify us within the timescale set out above and request that we provide you with a returns reference. Items must be returned to us in the same condition as they were dispatched to you, in adequate packaging and at your own cost and risk; the returns reference must also be included either on the packaging or included within the package. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the item whilst it is in your possession and this responsibility will only pass to us upon safe receipt of the item from your courier or parcel delivery organisation.
9.3 Electrical items are exempt from our returns policy if they have been opened or original seals are broken.


10.1 Every auction item on our website is brand new and supplied with the relevant manufacturers warranty or guarantee, just as if you purchased the item from a shop yourself.
10.2 An email receipt will be stored for each auction winner. This receipt will act as the product warranty or guarantee.
10.3 All items are supplied from well known, high street or online retailers.
10.4 Cash, voucher or bid balance auctions are not supplied with any form of warranty or guarantee.


11.1 Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.


12.1 All information is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
